American Traveler is seeking an experienced ED RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a comprehensive set of emergency certifications including TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS.
Details- Emergency Department setting within a hospital environment
- 12-hour day shifts, 0700–1930, three days per week (36 hrs/week)
- Weekend availability required
- On-call required during regularly scheduled shifts
- Float to other departments may be required based on business need
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Active RN license — CO single state or compact license required (no pending licenses)
- Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required
- Required certifications (all must be AHA and remain active through start date): BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, and NIHSS
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required (BSN preferred)
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; performs independent nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards
- Responsibilities include health teaching, counseling, therapy, treatment planning, and patient referrals as needed
- Documents care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Candidates who have been permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least one year to be eligible
