Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience for a critical access hospital, requiring BLS, CCI, and RDCS certification.
Details
- Critical access hospital setting with 25 staffed beds
- 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- No floating within scope required for facility staff positions
- Uses Cerner EMR system
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer required
- Current BLS certification required
- CCI certification required
- RDCS certification required
- AHA and Red Cross certifications accepted; RQI AHA cards not accepted
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction
- Grey scrub color required
- Parking permit required at no cost, arranged during orientation
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
- Floating is required for all travelers within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Travel pairs are not accepted
- Housing may be difficult to find in the area
- Former PERM or PRN employees of the hospital system must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Schedule and time off requests should be discussed directly with the manager
