Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2 years of experience in adult echocardiography and stress echo for a cardiology department.
Details
- Non-invasive cardiology department in a facility with 150 beds
- 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- On-call rotates weekly among staff, covering weekday evenings (4:00 PM-7:30 AM) and full weekends
- Uses Philips CVx equipment and Epic EMR
Requirements
- Current BLS certification required
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in echocardiography
- Experience with adult echocardiography including stress echocardiography required
- Pediatric and neonatal echocardiography experience preferred
- No gaps in work history of 90 days within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Must complete hospital-required onboarding education prior to first day
- Scrub color requirement: dark grey or pewter, must meet hospital dress code
- Candidates should be punctual, detail-oriented, cooperative, flexible, and team-oriented
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced bill rate
