American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Director of Quality and Patient Safety Officer position requiring a Master's degree, 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, and an active WA or compact RN license.

• Leadership role within a Case Management department in an acute care hospital setting
• Focuses on cross-continuum care coordination, utilization management, and quality patient care outcomes
• Works collaboratively with market leaders, physicians, social workers, clinical case managers, and community colleagues
• Uses Epic EMR
• Standard 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
• May float between two hospital locations

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Master's degree in a health-related field required
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare leadership experience required
• 8 years of clinical experience in acute care case management preferred
• Epic EMR experience

• Responsible for leading a team of clinical case managers and social workers in delivering coordinated, patient-centered care
• Oversees development and implementation of case management processes, tools, and systems for effective utilization and resource management
• Facilitates multidisciplinary collaboration to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in patient care and services
• May operate under a dual matrixed reporting structure

• At least one professional reference from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, or equivalent) required for consideration; a second reference will be needed prior to start
