Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2 years of experience for weekend night shifts in a Diagnostic Imaging department at a community hospital in Galax, VA.
Details
- Diagnostic Imaging department within a 141-bed acute care community hospital
- Patient population includes adults, geriatric, and occasionally pediatric and neonatal patients
- GE equipment used for CT imaging
- Paragon EHR system in use
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
- On-call requirements apply to this position
- Must be able to work independently overnight
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT-RT, and ARRT-CT
- AHA certifications specifically required
- Must be able to work with adult, geriatric, and occasionally pediatric and neonatal patient populations
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- 13-week contract located in Galax, VA
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Solid scrubs in any color are required
- Galax, VA is known as the 'Old-Time Music Capital of the World' and offers outdoor recreation including the 57-mile New River Trail State Park
