Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma, 500-bed acute care hospital, requiring 2 years of experience and ARRT certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with a 500-bed facility and 3 CT machines in the department
- CT scans performed in the ED and main hospital, with additional responsibilities assisting with morning chest X-rays in the ICU
- Uses GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR
- 12-hour day shifts, straight weekends
- No floating to other units or departments
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Required hands-on experience with GE scanners
- Active ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (CT) preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Active state license required, if applicable
- 2 current professional references required: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 years in the specialty
- Active certifications required at time of consideration — no pending certifications accepted
Additional Information
- Perform CT scans across the ED and main hospital; assist with morning ICU chest X-rays
- This is a high-volume, fast-paced CT department operating 24/7
- Training/orientation is 1–2 weeks
- Dark gray scrubs required
- Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose it on their resume or within their profile
- Former Sanford Health employees must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their submission date
- Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate adjustment
