Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center, with first-time travelers welcome.
Details
- Inpatient CT scan unit within a community hospital serving a Level III Trauma Center ED
- Wide variety of cases including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- High-volume environment with an average daily caseload of 160
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital
- Cerner EMR — experience required
- GE scanner/equipment experience preferred
Requirements
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certifications required — AHA and RQI accepted
- Minimum 18 months of CT Technologist experience required
- Experience in inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings required
- Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Indiana state license or Compact license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Outpatient, Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, pediatric (NICU/PICU) experience preferred
- IV starts, phlebotomy, biopsies, aspirations, drainage, and myelography experience preferred

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Indiana residents are considered local candidates — local candidates are accepted for Allied positions
- Any current or former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
- Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within this health system must take a consecutive break before resetting eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
- Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
