Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Jacksonville, FL, requiring at least 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting and ARRT (R, CT) certification.
Details
- Work in the CT Scan department of a 418-bed acute care hospital in Jacksonville, FL
- Department is located on the 1st floor of the main hospital building
- 3 CT scanner bays utilizing GE 64-slice equipment including VCT, Optima, and Revolution models
- Performs all CT exams with the exception of Cardiac CTA
- Charting via Meditech EMR
- Day shift staffing includes 3 CT Techs and 1 Tech Assistant; night shift includes 1 CT Tech and 1 Tech Assistant
- Friday through Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
- Holiday coverage required on a rotational basis with hospital staff
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting
- Must have active experience within the last 6 months in the CT specialty
- ARRT (R, CT) and BLS (AHA or ARC accepted) required — certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Trauma hospital experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required for Florida-based candidates
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
