Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for overnight weekend shifts at an acute care hospital, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and Massachusetts state licensure in Computed Tomography.
Details
- Hospital-based CT imaging unit
- Shift hours are 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (23:00–07:30)
- Schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights — 36 hours per week
- GE CT scanner experience preferred
- EMR systems used: Epic and Visage
- Rotating shifts may be required per facility policy
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography required — MA Conditional Licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted at this location
- 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
- Proficiency in CT scanning, IV contrast administration, and oral/GI contrast administration
- Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Experience with Epic EMR
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions are permitted
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures at a high level of proficiency in accordance with established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines
- Responsible for patient safety throughout all procedures and delivering high-quality customer service
- Works under the direction of the CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead
- Local candidates whose permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible to apply
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking is available at candidate's expense
