American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level 1 trauma center, requiring at least 1 year of recent CT experience in a trauma setting and ARRT Radiography certification.

• Radiology department in a 400-bed hospital performing an average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
• Staffed with 2 techs per scanner during the day and a total of 3 techs overnight
• Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice CT scanners
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Performs CT exams for ED and inpatient populations only
• Shift runs Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (13-week assignment)

• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• Ability to independently operate GE CT equipment
• Proficient in performing routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Perform routine CT exams for ED and inpatient trauma cases using a compassionate care model
• Facility is Joint Commission accredited and ACR accredited in CT, MRI, US, NM, and Mammography
• Required uniform color is charcoal grey
• Hospital recognized among top 100 hospitals for cardiovascular care
• Located in Myrtle Beach, SC, a popular vacation and relocation destination
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
