Description
American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with acute care experience for a day shift position at a hospital in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting serving medical, surgical, orthopedic, neurological, neurosurgical, cardiac, and critical care patient populations
- Also serves an Acute Rehab Facility unit with an average patient length of stay of 2 weeks and a high percentage of stroke patients
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30), with every 4th weekend required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MN COTA license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of COTA experience required
- Acute care setting experience required
- Candidates must reside at least 25 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates within 25 miles will also be considered
Additional Information
- Provide occupational therapy services across a broad range of acute care specialties including orthopedics, neurology, cardiac, and critical care
- Stroke rehabilitation is a significant component of the caseload in the acute rehab unit
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
