Description
American Traveler is hiring a Lead Cath Lab Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3 years of cath lab experience, an Associate's degree, and active ARRT and Kentucky KBMIRT licensure.

- 4x10 hour day shifts with a call requirement

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab / procedural experience
- Associate's degree in Radiology or a related field
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT Radiography (R) Certification required
- Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License required if applicable
- MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Serves as a lead technologist, coordinating daily patient flow including patients, staff, and physician scheduling
- Assists with staff selection, onboarding, training, and competency assessment
- Actively trains new employees on equipment functionality and lab procedures
- Maintains employee relations, reinforces staff accountability, and participates in corrective action processes as needed
- Provides leadership support to the Director of Cardiovascular Services and department manager
- Operates with limited supervision, exercising professional judgment to ensure appropriate patient care and successful procedure completion
