American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Tech with at least 3 years of experience to assist with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures in a cardiac catheterization lab.

• Work in a Cardiac Catheterization unit at an acute care hospital
• Assists with both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures under the direction of a Cardiologist or Radiologist
• Schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 15 days per six-week schedule, including every 3rd weekend call rotation
• 13-week contract

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Experience on the facility's EMR system is required
• License required if applicable
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Responsibilities include scrubbing procedures and/or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during cardiovascular procedures
• Ensures procedure rooms are adequately stocked and prepared prior to each case
• Participates in departmental staff meetings, performance improvement activities, and training of new staff
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• DCI/BVP (Workplace Violence Prevention) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or a free CDC resource
