American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute care experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska.
Details- Acute care hospital setting with 407 staffed beds
- Magnet facility, Level II Trauma Center, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
- 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Weekend shifts required
- Floating between all facilities within the state is expected and required
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Scrubs provided by the facility
- Free on-site parking available
- No on-call required
- Block scheduling is not available
- Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required
- ER experience preferred
- Active Alaska PT license required (pending license accepted); license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Candidate's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO requests may be denied
- Refusal to float between state facilities may result in assignment termination
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
