American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 1 year of acute care experience and prior travel experience.

• Acute inpatient hospital-based occupational therapy unit
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00a-4:30p
• Weekend coverage required, approximately 1-2 per month
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Epic EMR used for charting

• Active South Carolina or Multistate Compact Occupational Therapist license required at start of contract (license required if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• NBCOT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
• Prior travel experience required
• SSN required for consideration

• Provide occupational therapy services within an acute inpatient hospital setting
• Red scrub top and black scrub pants required
• Free parking available on-site
• First-time travelers will not be accepted for this role
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval consideration
• During hurricane season (June-November), staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
