American Traveler is hiring a travel X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week radiology assignment, requiring graduation from a JRCERT-accredited program and experience with mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
Details- Hospital radiology department setting
- 12-hour day shifts with alternating start times of 6:30 AM and 11:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Occasional on-call requirements
- 13-week contract
- Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- State licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by state
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist
- Proficiency with mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment
- Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Proficient computer skills
- DOB and SSN required for consideration
- License required if applicable
- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging procedures in an acute clinical setting
- Must be familiar with applicable state and federal regulations
- Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) training required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or CDC's free online resource
