American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Ohio, requiring Level 1 trauma experience, multi-specialty circulator skills, and Epic proficiency.
Details- Hospital Operating Room (OR) setting
- Multi-specialty caseload including Orthopedics (trauma, joints, sports medicine, shoulders) and Robotic surgery (DaVinci)
- Primary role is circulator
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 12-hour shifts (6:30–19:00)
- On-call required: maximum of 10 calls per contract, scheduled after 19:00–6:30 and on weekends
- Weekend coverage is on-call only, structured as 24-hour Saturday or Sunday shifts
- Floating may be required to the outpatient OR on the 2nd floor
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license required
- Active BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Level 1 trauma OR experience required
- Circulator experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Multi-specialty OR experience required, including orthopedics and robotic surgery (DaVinci)
- Prior travel experience preferred
- Conscious sedation and scrub experience preferred
- 2 professional references required: at least 1 from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted
- Local candidates are accepted
- Former employees of the facility are eligible for a travel assignment after a minimum 6-month separation
- Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of consideration and must not exceed 7 days for the contract
- Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after signing a contract; candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt
- Multiple parking permit options are available for purchase through CampusParc, ranging from a convenient on-site garage permit to a budget surface lot option with shuttle service to the medical center
