Summary of Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Substation Engineer to join our team. As a Substation Engineer, you will be responsible for technical design, oversight, and review of project engineering work in support of the development and implementation of our substation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Leverage your experience in power systems design, build, or operation of power generation, FACTS devices, or T&D systems.
Assist in the scoping, design, and construction of transmission substations and transmission support resource projects.
Collaborate with internal and external teams and service providers to design and oversee the development of design documents.
Ensure compliance with American Transmission Company's (ATC) design engineering guides, standards, and good utility practices.
Coordinate reviews of project estimates for cost and scope accuracy.
Provide technical input to obtain services from external consultants.
Support the construction department during the construction phase of projects by resolving technical and engineering problems.
