LARE Institute is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aid Lead Instructor to teach our CNA/HHA courses at our Andover and Chelsea locations. LARE Institute is a branch of American Training with state, global, and industry-recognized certifications in Allied Health Care, Business, Trade and Education Programs. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Classroom: Mon–Thu 8:30 AM–2:30 PM; Fri 8:30 AM–1:00 PM
Clinical weeks: hours may vary.
Flexible to travel between Andover and Chelsea.
Who's a great fit for the CNA/Home Health Aid Program Instructor position? LARE Institute is looking for someone who demonstrates an obvious passion for the people we serve and someone who will put our WOW! Magic into action during all aspects of their work lives. A good fit will have the following experience and skills:
- Deliver classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction by teaching the CNA/HHA curriculum and demonstrating required skills in accordance with LARE Institute, American Training Inc., and applicable regulatory standards.
- Monitor and evaluate student performance by tracking attendance, maintaining compliance with Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations, assessing skills competency in the lab and clinical settings, providing coaching and guidance, and identifying and reporting students at risk of non-compliance.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation by preparing written progress reports, utilizing the student database, proctoring and grading examinations, and completing all required program documentation in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and program requirements by adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements of LARE Institute, American Training Inc., and affiliated clinical facilities while promoting a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license.
- Approved by DPL Office of Proprietary Schools and Massachusetts DPH.
- Minimum two years of long-term care experience.
- Minimum one year of teaching experience.
- Ability to work with a diverse population.
- No lifting restrictions; able to stand and walk for extended periods.
