Trailer Parts Counterperson

FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

American Trailer Mart is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Trailer Parts Counterperson to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, staying organized, and supporting a fast-paced service and sales operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and counter sales to walk-in and phone customers
• Assist customers with parts identification and recommendations
• Receive, tag, and stock parts accurately and efficiently
• Maintain organized shelves and ensure parts are properly labeled
• Assist with inventory management, including counts and restocking
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct or assist customers as needed
• Support the shop and service department by pulling and supplying parts for work orders
• Ring out customers using the POS system and process payments accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized parts counter and stock area

Qualifications

• Previous parts, retail, automotive, trailer, or equipment experience preferred (but not required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using a POS system and basic computer programs
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Ability to lift parts and stand for extended periods
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
