Responsibilities:
- Comply with the corporate safety program
- Responsible for the more complex tasks associated with repairing and constructing building structures and equipment.
- Plan and lay out work from drawings, blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Duties may include demolition, remodeling, construction, repair, installation of plumbing, and installation of components from blueprints, sketches, or verbal orders.
- Performs work under minimal supervision.
- Must know and use advanced skill procedures and techniques for such work.
- Apply knowledge of regulatory codes and requirements.
- Assume total responsibility for the task at hand.
- Aggressively complete projects on time and under budget
- Ensures adherence to building plans, specifications, codes and regulations
- Organize the jobsite to be safe and efficient
- Maintain a neat, clean and organized job
- Self-Starter and planner
- Proficient knowledge of building plan reading
- Site and building layout experience
- Problem-solving and multitasking is required
- Ability to plan ahead for short and long term activities
- Ability to implement a plan and follow through to a successful completion
- Knowledgeable in all trade responsibilities, building products, equipment, construction methods
- Resourceful in solving jobsite problems
- Basic math skills to calculate area, volume
- Basic Computer Literate
