General Summary:
The Quality Systems Engineer designs, implements and maintains the corporate Quality Management System (QMS) to guarantee product safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. This role monitors daily operational processes to identify non-conformances, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and conducts staff training to ensure strict adherence to industry standards and internal procedural requirements.
Position Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement quality control processes to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
· Conduct regular internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
· Analyze data an provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and prevent reoccurrence.
· Lead continuous improvement projects and initiatives to enhance quality processes and outcomes.
· Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control procedures, and best practices.
· Support APQP and PPAP processes, ensuring new products meet quality targets and are ready for production.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience with quality management systems (QMS) such as ISO/TS 16949
· Strong understanding of testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
· High attention to detail with the ability to diagnose root causes of issues
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
· Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate defects and explain quality metrics to non-technical team members.
Education & Experience
- Bachelors’ degree in software engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
- Prior experience in a quality engineering role, particularly within the automotive manufacturing sector
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, however, overtime will be required based on workload demands, including weekdays, and weekends. The position is set in a manufacturing floor environment requiring standing for long periods of time, lifting to 50lbs, and wearing PPE, as well as an office environment.

Pay: $70,504.66 - $80,000.00 per year
