We’re looking for an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to ensure our molding operations run smoothly, producing top-quality parts with maximum efficiency.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities
Maintain and fine-tune molding machine processes to ensure consistent, high-quality production.
Troubleshoot molding issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
Perform routine visual inspections of products for quality assurance.
Accurately maintain production documentation and records.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Lean Manufacturing practices.
Collaborate with all departments to keep machines running at peak performance.
Perform mold changes, color changes, and material changeovers efficiently.
Operate and adjust robotics as needed.
Education and Experience
5–7 years of experience in the plastics industry (GED or equivalent required).
Strong mechanical aptitude with basic math skills.
Understanding of material types, molding principles, and basic molding techniques.
Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to injection molding.
Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing documentation.
Forklift certification preferred.
Working knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and visual manufacturing systems.

Troubleshooting and problem-solving under pressure.
Strong teamwork and communication with cross-functional support groups.
