Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team for regional runs between Arizona and California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial trucking, with expertise in various types of freight transport. This role involves operating tractor-trailers across designated routes, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. The position offers the opportunity to work on diverse equipment including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmission across regional routes between AZ and CA.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Transport various types of cargo including refrigerated goods, flatbed loads, tankers, and freight requiring specialized handling.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all federal and state transportation regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
- Route driving efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to hours-of-service regulations.
- Assist with loading or unloading cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status, delivery issues, or delays.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and delivery operations.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is preferred.
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles is required.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers.
- Experience in freight handling across different types of cargo is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with the necessary endorsements for specialized equipment if applicable.
- Ability to work independently on regional routes between AZ and CA while maintaining high safety standards.

Pay: $219.89 - $700.00 per day
