IT Software Solutions Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and technically minded IT Software Solutions Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys coding, software development, technology, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and providing exceptional customer service.

The IT Software Solutions Engineer will work directly with customers and internal team members to understand their needs, provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, write and modify code, develop software solutions, configure systems, and identify creative ways to solve technology-related challenges.

The ideal candidate is someone who can think critically, learn quickly, communicate clearly, and genuinely enjoys helping people. You should be comfortable speaking with customers, explaining technical information in an easy-to-understand way, and taking ownership of a problem from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, responsive, and knowledgeable customer service to customers
• Communicate with customers by phone, email, and other communication channels to understand and resolve technical issues
• Build positive customer relationships and ensure customers feel heard, supported, and valued
• Provide technical support and solutions to customers and internal team members
• Write, modify, test, and maintain code to improve software functionality and create customized solutions
• Assist with software development, debugging, testing, and implementation
• Troubleshoot software, computer, and technical issues
• Configure and maintain software applications and systems
• Identify opportunities to improve software functionality and business processes
• Work with customers to understand their needs and translate those needs into practical technical solutions
• Investigate problems, determine root causes, and develop effective solutions
• Assist with software integrations, APIs, databases, data management, and automation
• Test new software features, updates, and custom code
• Document technical processes, coding solutions, customer issues, and procedures
• Communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical customers
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been fully resolved
• Collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency, software functionality, and the overall customer experience
• Stay current with new technologies, programming languages, software, and development tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software development or programming
• Experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, or similar
• Experience with databases, APIs, integrations, or automation
• Previous experience in technical support or customer service
• Familiarity with Windows, networking, cloud-based software, or business applications
• Experience working with SaaS or business management software
