Position: Drainage Engineer
Location: Tampa or Orlando, FL
We are looking for a team oriented and technically gifted Drainage Engineer to become the next integral member of our Florida Road Group.
Responsibilities
Provide FDOT Roadway Support, particularly focusing on drainage design and implementation
Lead permitting efforts, ensuring compliance with WMD Permitting Processes
Lead pond siting activities, utilizing best practices and analysis methods
Assist in pursuit activities related to drainage projects, contributing technical expertise
Mentor junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficiency in FDOT Drainage preferences
- Familiarity with WMD Permitting Processes
- Experience in pond siting methodologies
- Strong proficiency in ICPR/HECRAS software
- Other duties as assigned
