LVN Nurse

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The LVN will provide essential nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of patients and assisting in their recovery process. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Duties

Conduct skilled nursing visits and provide direct patient care as prescribed by the patient's physician, plan of care, or as directed by the RN within the Texas scope of practice for Licensed Vocational Nursing.

Regularly travel to patient homes and outreach locations to provide care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

• Accurately document all patient visits during the day services were performed.

• Performs PRN visits and works rotating weekends with other team members.

• Receive and draft verbal physician orders.

.LVN full-time & PRN to visit adults under a supervisor in the patient's home.

.Maintains compliance with all At Home Healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations, including all federal and state laws.

Skills

• Experience with patient assessment techniques and documentation practices.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Ability to ventilate patients as required in emergency situations or specific care settings.
• Experience working in medical office environments is a plus.

Qualifications The qualifications for an Adult Care Services LVN are: Must be willing to provide care and support to patients and families in their homes. * Must have at least 1 year of nursing experience * Must have a Texas LVN/RN license in good standing * Must have a current CPR certification

Pay: $24.00 - $26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
