What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at American Sports Surfaces?
The Receptionist is the first point of contact for our prospects, clients and vendors and must have excellent interpersonal skills. This position is responsible for greeting customers, answering phones, and providing general administrative support to our staff. This is a full-time, entry level position with promotional opportunities within each company department (Sales, Marketing, and Operations).
Job Duties:
- Answer phones, transfer calls and enter new prospects into CRM database
- Maintain office supply inventory and make orders as needed
- Provide administrative support to American Tennis Courts’ President, Sales, Production, HR and Marketing teams
- Onboard new clients and assist with billing within QuickBooks
- Oversee employee timesheets and ensure time is tracked accurately
- Distribute petty cash/per diem and track incoming and outgoing cash
- Maintain office calendar with deadlines, license renewals and events
Requirements:
- Staff our front desk M-F from 7am to 4pm
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to type and navigate computer quickly, including using shortcuts
- Bachelor’s degree, preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Positive attitude
- Passion for sports and athletics, preferred
