Available Shifts:
*1st Shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
*2nd Shift: 3pm - 1am Monday - Thursday -- Includes a $1.50/hr Shift Premium!
Must be able to work overtime/weekends as needed on both shifts
**Retention Bonus - Earn $250 at month 3 and 6 of your employment, up to $500!**
Responsibilities
- Assisting Machine Operators in machine and work area set up at the beginning of the shift and when new jobs are being started up throughout the day.
- Inspection of product being produced on machine and communicating issues to operator as necessary.
- Assist Machine Operators with staging of product to be run and moving of completed product to designated staging areas.
- Cross training within process in order to gain understanding of process as a whole, and have the ability to cover for vacations or absences as needed.
- Responsible for maintaining complete and accurate time documentation within PACE system (starting and ending day, clocking in and out of jobs).
- Assist Machine Operators with shut down of equipment and work area cleanup at the end of the production shift.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instruction and direction from the Machine Operator and Manager.
- Ability to maintain a high level attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to work overtime as required by workload and department manger.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to learn and ensure all quality specifications are exceeded.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to often lift 10 lbs.
- Ability to work overtime as required.
- Experience in the printing/finishing industry preferred.
- Previous quality inspection/print inspection experience a plus.
