Ultrasound Vascular Technologist (Part-Time)
Location: Ball Memorial Hospital
This part-time position is scheduled for approximately 32 hours per week, with hours that may vary based on departmental needs. The typical schedule is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
Candidates are expected be available to work holidays, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed. On-call coverage includes:
- Monday-Friday: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM
- Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required. May also require Advanced Life Support certification, if applicable.
- Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
- Requires active status through one of the following: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS): Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology, RVT (VT); Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Registered Vascular Sonographer, RVS; American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Vascular Sonography RT(VS).
- May require experience in diagnostic ultrasound, if applicable.
- May be required to meet registry/certification requirements for another modality, if applicable.
- May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
