Salary Range: $26.59 - $41.09 per hour (Hiring Range). Pay offers are determined by experience and internal equity.
Hours: Per Diem, Part-time, and Full-time available.
Locations: Opportunities are available in a variety of locations, including UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill and Hillsborough, UNC Health Rex in Raleigh and Holly Springs, UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, UNC Health Rockingham in Eden, UNC Health Chatham in Siler City, and UNC Health Caldwell in Lenoir. Education Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science, or a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science, or an Associate's Degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technology
- If an Associate's Degree in Clinical Lab Science, Medical Lab Technician, Chemical Science, or Biological Science - MLT (ASCP) or MLT (AMT) certification is required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science, ASCP categorical certification in the specialty area is required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Lab Science - MT/MLS (ASCP) or MT/MLS (AMT) certification is required.
- Medical Lab Scientist II:
- If an Associate's Degree in Clinical Lab Science, Medical Lab Technician, Chemical Science, or Biological Science - two (2) years of experience required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science - two (2) years of experience required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Lab Science - no experience required.
- Medical Lab Scientist III:
- If an Associate's Degree in Clinical Lab Science, Medical Lab Technician, Chemical Science, or Biological Science - four (4) years of experience required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science - three (3) years of experience required.
- If a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical/Medical Lab Science - two (2) years of experience required.
