Job Description
PRN Rate: $50.48/hour
Two Call Shifts a Month Required
- Recognizes abnormalities and reports findings to physicians and/or nursing staff promptly.
- Uses doppler to quantitate and localize abnormalities when needed.
- Strictly obeys isolation and infection control procedures as outlined in the hospital infection control manual.
- Responds appropriately to situations requiring immediate action and judgment in patient care.
- Coordinates exams with other departments to facilitate efficient scheduling and minimize patient waiting.
- Associate's [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
- Completion with certificate from an accredited allied health education program [Required]
- 1 previous experience required as a graduate tech [Required]
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) [Required] OR
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required]
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required] OR
- Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) [Required}
