Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose furniture damage, including structural issues, upholstery problems, and finish imperfections.
- Utilize tools and equipment, including an Ohmmeter, to perform repairs and ensure functionality.
- Execute various repair techniques such as refinishing, reupholstering, and structural reinforcement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair processes, timelines, and care instructions.
- Document all repairs performed and maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficiency in furniture repair techniques with a strong understanding of materials used in furniture construction.
- Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter for diagnosing electrical components in furniture where applicable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot various types of damage.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
