American Sign & Lighting is hiring an experienced Electrician to join our growing commercial service team. We are looking for a dependable professional with strong troubleshooting skills who takes pride in diagnosing electrical problems and completing quality repairs.
What You'll Be Doing
- Troubleshoot commercial electrical, lighting, and control systems
- Perform service calls at commercial properties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures
- Diagnose issues involving wiring, contactors, ballasts, and related systems
- Recommend effective repair solutions
- Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with customers and the service team
- Document completed service work
What We're Looking For
- Delaware electrical license preferred; experienced apprentice-level candidates may be considered
- At least one year of professional electrical field experience
- Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience
- Valid driver's license
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to manage service calls independently
- Dependable and committed to safety and quality workmanship
- Must live within approximately 30 minutes of Milford, Delaware
Preferred Experience
- Bucket truck operation
- Commercial or exterior lighting repair
- Sign lighting service
- Ballasts and contactors
- Energy management or lighting control systems
