Overview:
As a Firearm Sales Associate, your main role is to help customers choose and purchase firearms safely and confidently.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance:
- Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding the right firearm for their needs.
- Answer questions about firearm safety and operation, and provide guidance on selecting the right product.
- Sales and Transactions:
- Guide customers through the sales process, including paperwork and background checks.
- Handle sales transactions accurately and recommend accessories and ammunition.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest firearms and accessories to better assist customers.
- Keep the sales floor organized and assist with inventory management.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all legal regulations related to firearm sales and ensure transactions are lawful.
- Promote firearm safety practices among customers.
- Teamwork:
- Work with colleagues to achieve sales goals and address customer needs effectively.
- Participate in training to improve product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of Firearms: Understand different types of firearms and their uses.
- Customer Service Skills: Good communication and helpful attitude.
- Sales Experience: Retail sales experience preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy in transactions and paperwork.
