Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, and ensure timely service delivery
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize sales opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route details using organizational tools
- Assist with merchandising efforts to ensure product displays are attractive and well-stocked
- Collaborate with team members to develop effective sales strategies and improve overall performance
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary to manage inventory, stock supplies, or set up displays
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles, preferably within a retail or distribution environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse customers
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math skills for transactions and calculations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is a plus
- Ability to perform route driving efficiently while adhering to safety regulations
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and extended periods of standing or walking
- Organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and inventory effectively
- Military experience is considered an asset for discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities
