Job Overview
American Senior Health Advisors (ASHA) is a growing, Medicare-focused insurance agency seeking motivated Health Insurance Agents to join our team. This is a 1099 independent contractor role designed for individuals who want to build long-term, sustainable, performance-based income, while maintaining full control over their own schedule and working hours.
As a Medicare Sales Agent with ASHA, you will educate Medicare-eligible individuals on their coverage options and help them enroll in plans that best fit their healthcare needs. You’ll work independently while having access to training, carrier contracting, and back-office support that allows you to focus on serving clients and growing your business.
This opportunity is open to experienced insurance agents (including backgrounds in Life Insurance, ACA/Marketplace, or Medicare) as well as individuals with no prior insurance experience who bring strong customer-facing or sales skills. Experience in hospitality, retail, call centers, or other service-oriented roles translates well into this position.
What You’ll Do
- Assist clients with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug plan enrollments
- Educate clients on benefits, eligibility, and plan differences
- Build and manage your own book of business
- Maintain compliance with CMS and carrier guidelines
- Work with a supportive operations team for contracting, enrollment, and administrative support

Who This Is For
