Role Description The Insurance Broker role at American Senior Benefits is a full-time, on-site position based in Olathe, KS. In this role, the Insurance Broker meets with clients to assess their insurance needs, explains coverage options, and recommends solutions that support their health, life, and retirement goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, preparing quotes, assisting with applications and policy changes, and maintaining accurate client records. The Insurance Broker will also follow up with existing clients to review coverage, address questions, and ensure ongoing satisfaction. Collaboration with internal teams, staying current on insurance products and regulations, and participating in training or local outreach activities are also part of the day-to-day work.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with the ability to compare and recommend appropriate policies.
- Candidates should possess Finance and Retirement Planning skills to guide clients in making informed long-term coverage decisions.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service abilities to communicate clearly, build trust, and support clients through the decision-making process.
- Relevant state insurance licensing (or eligibility to obtain it promptly) is required.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
