This role includes greeting and directing visitors, performing regular foot patrols, and ensuring the security and safety of client sites. Responsibilities: Greet, welcome, direct, and announce visitors in a professional and friendly mannerMaintain regular foot patrols according to prescribed schedulesMonitor premises and respond to any unusual sounds, odors, or suspicious activityLock/unlock gates and doors as neededRespond to problem situations and escalate as appropriateMaintain thorough documentation including Daily Activity Reports and Incident ReportsCommunicate with clients, supervisors, vendors, contractors, and the public professionallyTravel between assigned locations throughout the shift as neededEnsure consistent service excellence and customer satisfactionOversee and coordinate daily security operations across assigned sitesSupervise, support, and evaluate security officers during assigned shiftsEnsure all guards follow post orders, policies, and company proceduresConduct regular site inspections to verify compliance and performanceRespond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns in a timely mannerPrepare and submit shift reports, incident summaries, and operational updatesTrain and mentor new and existing security personnelSchedule staff, manage call-offs, and ensure proper coverageServe as the primary onsite point of contact for clients and managementEnforce safety protocols and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitorsAssist with investigations, evidence collection, and documentationMonitor access control systems, cameras, and alarm responses (if applicable)Support HR with performance issues, coaching, and corrective actionsMaintain professional conduct and represent the company appropriately at all times Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent, OR 5 years of verifiable guard experienceMust have a valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving recordMust possess an active California Guard CardStrong customer service skills requiredMust be able to walk, stand, and travel between job sites during shiftsMUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH/SPANISHAs a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background check and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local lawsAmerican Security Force is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
