WEEKEND SECUIRTY OFFICER/CALHOUN

NOTE: We are looking for someone to fill an immediate night slot. Th. This Supervisor position will entail 40 hours Monday - Friday . The Other overnight position is 24 hours at one property and 16 hours at another property to ensure your 40 hour week. If interested and can start immediately please apply.

American Security Associates Inc. is currently seeking candidates for Security Officer.

All candidates must possess the following:

Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred.
Candidates must have a professional appearance.
Candidates for Security Officer must have their own transportation and phone.

Previous experience preferred.

Establish a security presence. Monitor foot and vehicle traffic in and out of the facility, patrol property.

· Must be able to read and follow post orders.

· Ensure all owners and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings.

· Announce deliveries as well as visitors, and contractors.

· Greet owners and visitors as they arrive and assist with any concerns they might have.

· Complete reports and other required documentation. Write reports for all security incidents. Ability to stay levelheaded and respond quickly in stressful situations.

· Monitor alarms and security cameras, answer phones, provide information, directions and general guidance.

· Complete daily rounds of site, being watchful for suspicious persons and/or activities, inspect buildings, equipment and access points. Serve as a deterrent to persons who have intent to committing criminal acts.

· Other duties as needed.

Candidates must meet the following:

· Be able to pass drug and background checks

· Be free of any felony convictions

· Have a high school diploma or equivalent

· Must be alert.

· Have proficient written and oral communication skills plus a working knowledge of Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

· All employees are required to wear the provided uniform. Keep clean and neat appearance with good personal hygiene.

· Employee must have polite, courteous and helpful conduct when working with direct client population and fellow Security Officers.

· Previous security experience a plus.

Must have a clean criminal history and pass a drug test.
