Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist with excavation, material handling, and site preparation.
- Operate and maintain basic field equipment for environmental monitoring (Level II).
- Support heavy equipment operators by acting as a spotter.
- Conduct drum collection, waste handling and hazardous material disposal.
- Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Supervisor.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Walk over uneven terrain and perform labor-intensive tasks.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Pre-Employment drug screening required per state regulations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in environmental remediation, construction, or field operations.
- Knowledge of basic equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks.
