American Safety & Fire House is seeking motivated Service Technicians to support fire departments and industrial organizations by inspecting, testing, maintaining, and repairing Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment and related safety systems.

As a Service Technician, you'll travel throughout your assigned territory using a company-provided service vehicle, helping ensure firefighters and industrial safety engineers have reliable life-saving equipment when they need it most.

- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on 3M Scott SCBA equipment and related systems.
- Travel to customers throughout your assigned territory using a company-provided vehicle.
- Conduct flow testing and operational testing using diagnostic equipment and software.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment as needed.
- Complete service documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive service.
- Generate additional revenue by identifying customer needs and promoting new equipment, accessories and service solutions.
- Ensure all equipment meets manufacturer and safety standards.
- Manage your schedule and work independently while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable using computers, software, and diagnostic equipment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious.
- Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
- HVAC service and repair
- Small engine repair
- Automotive or diesel mechanics
- Fire service equipment maintenance
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Industrial maintenance
- Military equipment maintenance
Equivalent hands-on mechanical experience will also be considered.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory, including occasional overnight stays
