Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer service-oriented Infusion Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering medications and supplies to patients in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport medications and supplies to patients' homes or healthcare facilities
- Verify patient identification and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of medications
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Handle any questions or concerns from patients regarding their medications or deliveries
- Report any delivery issues or discrepancies to the pharmacy management
- Maintain accurate delivery records and submit reports as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Prior experience as a delivery driver preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to navigate and follow established routes using a GPS or map
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 50 pounds)
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance is a plus
Schedule:
Full time position with generous benefit package
Monday - Friday 12:00- 8:00pm
