Job Summary:
We are a home health company seeking a dedicated Clinical Supervisor with at least two years of management experience to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of our clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care in a compassionate and comforting environment. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license
- At least two years of experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role within hospice care
- In-depth knowledge of clinical best practices, regulations, and guidelines specific to hospice care
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing priorities
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day supervision and leadership to clinical staff, including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals, within a hospice home health setting
- Ensure compliance with company policies, protocols, and industry regulations specific to hospice care
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures tailored to the unique needs of hospice patients
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff, emphasizing the importance of compassion, empathy, and treating patients with dignity and respect
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of staff in the context of hospice care
- Coordinate and oversee the orientation and onboarding process for new clinical employees, emphasizing the importance of building relationships and providing emotional support to patients and their families
- Serve as a resource to clinical staff, answering questions and providing guidance on complex cases or situations specific to hospice care
- Monitor and evaluate the quality and efficiency of clinical operations in a hospice home health setting, implementing improvements as necessary to ensure the highest standard of care
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, empathy, and support among clinical staff in providing end-of-life care
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in healthcare, clinical practices, and regulatory requirements specific to hospice care, and ensure staff are kept informed and trained accordingly
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments in the coordination of holistic and interdisciplinary care for hospice patients and their families
- Participate in relevant meetings, committees, and professional development opportunities as required to enhance clinical knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry trends in hospice care
