Job Summary
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to become a key part of our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the distribution of goods to vendors, customers, and other American Ring locations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely deliveries and uphold our commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Count and package product for shipment according to American Ring and customer specific standards.
• Label packages for shipment and process inside ERP system.
• Process all outgoing shipments to customers, vendors & other American Ring locations.
• Organize all packages for customer pick-ups, truck and UPS/FedEx shipments.
• Email sales team on short ships and inventory changes.
• Problem solves basic shipping ERP errors .
• Relay order entry ERP errors with the inside sales team.
• Pull inventory from warehouse shelves for orders to be packed.
• Pre-bag inventory as needed.
• Complete the daily morning outbound audit.
• Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse for American Ring employees.

Experience

• High School Diploma
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or grocery store is also valued alternative experience.
• Familiarity with warehouse distribution practices, order fulfillment, and basic math skills is essential.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 products. Experience using Business Central ERP system a plus but will train.
• Operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment, must have a sense of urgency when needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to work in Warehouse in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Able to stand for long periods of shift.
• Able to bend, turn, stoop and reach.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
