What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at American Respiratory Labs?
Sub contract position doing pre & post spirometry
Must be well organized and able to work independently and produce quality spirometry results
Testing will be done in an outpatient clinic working with veterans so you should respect and appreciate veterans. Clinics are held every other Thursday from 8:30-5:00pm with no evenings, weekends or holidays required. The current need is 1-2 days a month to start and could increase to 3-4 days per month. ARL is a nationwide company and additional short travel assignments may be available though not required. All travel is paid, no additional licenses required.
ARL supplies the equipment and supplies, you must supply a laptop, and a phone with a hot spot. ARL doesn't withhold taxes you're paid on a cash basis and given a 1099 at the end of the year. This is a Sub Contractor position.
Customer service skills are almost as important as clinical experience, new grad as long as licensed is fine but some experience with spirometry is preferred and must be able to work independently.
