Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for the Houston branch with 190 employees
- Support recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations
- Manage and complete payroll on a weekly basis
- Handle policy implementation, compliance, and documentation
- Investigate incidents and partner with the Division HR Manager on escalations
- Conduct new hire orientation and coordinate training sessions
- Maintain employee files and ensure accurate records
- Help managers navigate employee performance and feedback
- Analyze turnover, track HR metrics, and support reporting
- Conduct safety trainings and oversee safety training compliance
- Other duties as assigned
What You Need:
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience
- Ability to work full-time in-office
- Working knowledge of employment laws (EEO, FMLA, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR systems
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
