Pay: $21 - $23 per hourSchedule: Monday–Friday, 7 AM to 3:30 PMLocation: Chesapeake, VARS Andrews of Tidewater, part of the ARS family of brands, provides HVAC and plumbing services. Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Track accounts receivable and collection activities
Investigate outstanding invoices and initiate collections or liens as needed
- Perform audits to ensure accurate invoices and allocations
Assist technicians with residential financing approvals
Reconcile bank statements, prepare journal entries, and handle month-end duties
Generate and distribute financial reports and aging reports
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies
Support basic accounts payable and receivable tasks
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring:
2-4 years of accounting experience (or equivalent training/education)
Familiarity with standard accounting principles
Strong organizational, communication, and confidentiality skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
