DESCRIPTION
The Technical Director will direct all aspects of scenery, rigging, and automation in coordination with stage operations for A.R.T. Productions, including managing commercial scene shop builds. They will promote an inclusive, respectful work environment for staff, overhire employees, and guest artists and foster both psychological and physical safety through appropriate training, policies, and daily practices. The TD will play a key part in the production process, including by collaborating with designers, working with external scenic shops, reading scripts, attending technical rehearsals, and managing scenic, rigging, and automation elements from pre-production through closing. This role will also provide direct supervision of up to three existing production staff.

$100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
