Who You Are:
We are currently searching for an Estimator, reporting to our Technical Services & Project Manager, to add to our service delivery team and deliver the highest standard of quoting and material resourcing. This is a perfect opportunity for a self-starter who strives to resolve issues in creative ways, is detail-oriented, reliable, able to collaborate with their team, and enjoys being part of a supportive, growing company.
In this role, you will be able to jump in and make an immediate impact. Specifically, you will:

- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction and maintenance projects
- Identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs — ensuring accuracy and competitiveness across all estimates
- Analyze potential risks and provide value engineering solutions to optimize project costs
- Develop, write, and assemble detailed proposals tailored to client job requirements for commercial construction and repair projects
- Ensure proposals comply with RFP/RFQ requirements and are submitted on time
- Help maintain an updated database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Track and analyze bid results to identify trends and improve the accuracy and competitiveness of future estimates and proposals
- Collaborate with the service delivery team and internal stakeholders to align estimates with project scope, client expectations, and operational capabilities
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in construction, electrical, plumbing estimating, and/or proposal writing — preferably with residential and commercial projects required
- Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, detailed cost estimates across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor scopes
- Experience writing and assembling client-facing proposals in response to RFPs and RFQs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with estimating software or work order management platforms or CRM platforms is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost risks and develop value engineering alternatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered
